Kelly Graves in her office

Kelly Graves, creative director

What’s in your office?

Pictures. I have pictures of my daughters, Emily and Rachel, from their DePauw graduation ceremony in May. I have seen firsthand the impact of a DePauw education. I am fortunate to have two perspectives from which to experience DePauw: as an employee and as a parent.

DePauw Marketing Materials. I keep printed samples of all major print publications and current admissions cycle publications on a project board. This allows me to maintain consistency in the appearance and use of the logo, as well as easily checking the use of posts and images. The communications and marketing team produces over 300 print projects each year in addition to billboards, numerous campus banners, environmental art installations, and all manner of loot items. *

Two magic wands. Because sometimes one is not enough. See above.*

Paint. I have a painting by Audrey Hepburn that my daughter Emily painted during a winter class with Professor John Berry.

Wire shoe sculptures. I saved these sculptures years ago when the Union Building’s “fishbowl” was converted into the Hubbard Center. They come from a class taught by Professor Lori Miles. I have found homes for everyone except these three.

Holiday Party 2021

The Office of the President and the Office of Human Resources would like to thank all of our employees, retirees and their families for attending our annual holiday party. We were so happy to be able to get together again and celebrate the holidays with you. It was so nice to see all the smiling faces and the joy in the children’s eyes when they saw Santa Claus! Even with the rain, the rink was enjoyed by all. We would like to thank the School of Music for partnering with us this year to combine our holiday party with the holiday gala. We wish you all a happy holiday season!

It’s almost W-2 time.
