Bermel was among four repeat first-team selections for this year’s squad, which was voted on by the league’s golf sports information directors. Other repeat first-team picks include Missouri State’s Abby Cavaiani; Indiana State’s Lauren Green; and Drake’s 2022 medalist Kristen Giles.

Illinois State’s Ali Schrock was named the league’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year. A total of 14 student-athletes were recognized by earning first-team or honorable mention honors.

In addition to the 10 first-team selections, four student-athletes received honorable mention by virtue of receiving a minimum number of votes. A total of 32 student-athletes were nominated for the Scholar-Athlete Awards in Women’s Golf.
